ABOUT: Boy Scout Troop 22 is a "boy lead-boy run" troop located at Trinity United Methodist Church, 626 Norwood St., Spartanburg, S.C., 29302.  Organized in 1923 for boys ages 11 to 17, Troop 22 is one of the oldest in the Palmetto Council in Upper South Carolina. Troop 22's younger partner is Cub Scout Pack 22 for boys ages 7 to 10.

SCOUTMASTERS: The Scoutmaster for Troop 22 is Tommy Hill, an Eagle Scout who has been involved in scouting most of his life. He is an engineer with a national company, married, has two daughters and a son who was also a Scout.  Troop 22 has four (4) Assistant Scoutmasters, one (1) Junior Scoutmasters and several scout parents serving as adult leaders. All adult leaders are certified in Youth Protection Training and First Aid and monitor all activities to ensure safety and healthy interaction in accordance with traditional moral values.

MISSION: The Mission of Troop 22 is to prepare boys, ages 11 to 17, to make good moral and ethical choices in life by instilling in them traditional Christian moral values reflected in the Scout Oath and Law to become effective leaders in the Church and Community.
