United Women in Faith

OUR PURPOSE

United Women in Faith, formerly United Methodist Women, is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church

ABOUT UNITED WOMEN IN FAITH

United Women in Faith is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice.

Here at Trinity our United Women in Faith participate in all aspects of the church. We are involved in mission through our own mission committee here at Trinity as well as the 4 mission projects of the SCCUMW –Bethlehem Center in Spartanburg, Bethlehem Center in Columbia, Killingsworth in Columbia and Wallace Family Life Center in Bennettsville. Our pledges are also used for mission around the world. Locally, we support our Bethlehem Center and Children’s Cancer Partners through volunteering as well as tangible gifts and monies.

GET INVOLVED

Trinity UWF offers 4 small group circles that meet at various times and places. Our ladies participate in the Spartanburg District, Conference and National events offered by UWF. We are a welcoming open group who would love to involve you in participating in faith, hope, love in action to better the lives of women, children, and youth of the world.
