2023-2024 Confirmation Class will be for students 6th-8th grade. We will meet during the school year, participate in a confirmation retreat, and celebrate confirmation in the spring.
Parents please complete the above form for Pastor Michelle for your Youth! Please complete it as thoroughly as possible and return it to her as soon as possible so she can make plans for the fall classes. [If you have a youth older than 8th grade who has not been through confirmation, please contact Pastor Michelle.]
The Youth Ministry at Trinity serves all youth in Grades 6-12.
We meet regularly for Sunday School at 9:30 on Sunday mornings in the youth room.
Trinity Youth participate in United Youth Spartanburg, the Spartanburg District combined youth group for fun, fellowship and to foster a relationship with God and each other. In addition to Trinity, churches involved include: Central UMC, Cherokee Springs UMC, New Beginnings UMC, Silver Hill UMC, St. James UMC, St. Paul UMC, and UM Church of the Covenant. During the school year, the United Youth meets Sunday evenings 5 pm-7 pm, rotating monthly among the participating churches. During the summer, they meet the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings and for special events and activities. Check the bulletin and newsletter for the updates of where and when United Youth is meeting.
